The original campus plans for the University of Florida at Gainesville were developed by the firm of Edwards & Walter. Edwards & Walter were contracted to design and layout the campus buildings in 1905. Additional plans were developed by the firm's successor, Edward and Sayward. Homer Edwin Still, Jr. was a student at the University of Florida from 1939-1942. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with high honors from the University of Florida during the Commencement exercises held Sunday and Monday, May 24 and 25, 1942.
