Homer Edwin Still, Jr. Collection, 1930-2000 (bulk: 1939-1942)

The collection is comprised of certificates, printed materials, photographs, programs, pamphlets, and artifacts. The latter consist of a rat cap, two programs from the 1942 Military Ball, a small doll dressed as a football player, and a ROTC white uniform and cap typically worn at the Military Ball and other social functions. The items are disparate but all relate to the activities in which Homer Still, Jr. was involved when he was a student. The fact that he saved them indicates that they were meaningful to him and they provide both a text and visual historical record of this time period at the University of Florida.
